成份
鈣質存在於牛奶、芝士、乳酪、墨西哥玉米餅、大白菜、羽衣甘藍和西蘭花中。鈣質是重要的礦物質,具有多項生物功能。鈣質主要以氫氧基磷灰石的形式,Ca10 (PO4)6 (OH)2,存在於骨骼之中。氫氧基磷灰石大約佔骨骼重量40%。骨骼在結構上明顯需要鈣質。骨骼也是一個儲存鈣質的地方。鈣質是構成骨骼與牙齒的要素,同時促進正常的肌肉收縮、神經傳導、心跳、凝血及腺體分泌,有助產生能量,維護正常的免疫功能。
